This is where I've picked up Pate de Luxe Wax before. I'm not caking it on my shoes either, but thank you for the reminder.

I can't seem to find a retailer stocking snuff suede chukka boots on a crepe sole. I've seen them before - does anyone know who has them?

well, than see your cobbler and discus with him what's possible. imo, long distance advice can only give the direction. no foot is like the other and fit is a very individual thing.

    good luck.

Light Brown, Middle Brown or Dark Brown will all do from that page. If you wish for them to lighten and show more patina then just get the light brown and use. If you wish to keep them the color they were when they were new then use the dark brown. If you want to play it in the middle use the medium brown. If you If you can tell the difference I will be surprised. I have used brown on black shoes and black on #8 and Brown shoes in a pinch. The wax is more for shine and less for color, but it does have some coloring in it. Not as much as shoe cream but still a little.

Thank you. I purchased it new from Japan Direct Shop(http://www.hovanfue.com/store/). Purchased right before the Tsunami hit and it did not get delivered until after that. That was a long wait but the communication was great. I am not sure if you can buy them new now though. Wearing it today though and I still love it.
