Thanks to all of you gentlemen who led me to the light and showed me that keeping the #4 WT boots was the way to go.

Here are a few shots from today's maiden voyage.
Notice how much different they look in the natural light (3rd pic, although a cloudy day here in NYC)

These pics have me seriously thinking about offloading my cigar 8.5D C&J for RL Marlow wingtips since they don't fit right. Anyone interested in trading an 8D or 8.5D Cigar LWB for them? PM me.

Did you just get them? If so, you can return them to RL. I think they are pretty good with returns.

Just curious, what is the fit issue with them? I have a pair on order and I ordered the same size I wear in Barrie.

First time posting on this thread and need your opinion. I'm in the market for a norweger and looking at these? What do you say?

would anyone be interested in a pair of these in 11.5d http://www.theshoemart.com/alden-me...sbc-1272s_ald_m_chukka_boot_barrie_last.html?

need to admit that they're too big :( they're in ok condition. the lining was flawed and I had alden professionally replace it (not really noticable), and the uppers are slightly dirty and the soles are medium worn. would be real cheap like $175. wanna give this thread the first go around before i post to B&S
