1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

    thanks

it is ok for the first 3-4 hours and then I feel it along my pinky toe area. Perhaps as the day goes by and my feet get a bit larger it results in the fit getting tighter?

Your feet swell over the corse of the day, some peoples feet more than others. It is most likely if it bugs you more later in the day. Try measuring your feet early and late to see if this is happening.

^^ my cxl context roy boots loosened up significantly. very pliable leather. i would think the leather should relax after a few weeks.

I get that a little bit too, though only in the right foot (which is interesting because my left foot is bigger). The nice thing about CXL is that it is softer and more supple. I suspect it will get better once the shoe breaks in. I don't know for sure, but I think some neats foot oil and leather conditioner (Saphir or Venetian) will keep it nice and soft (hence easier to stretch).

Mac, very nice! I have never seen a split toe monk. I've learned so much from your posts, and I cannot adequately express my thanks.

I have a pair of Alden Snuff Suede chukka boots from Unionmade Goods that I will be putting up on the B&S forum once I take some pictures of them this evening.

I've worn them 4 times, they are just too narrow for my wide foot. Size 8D if anybody is interested. $400 shipped CONUS. I love the boots, but like I said, they are just too narrow for me (I'm going to put the sale towards a purchase of the "E" width ones at Leffot).
