    Leather Defender is still a relatively new product so the jury is still out on it for long term usage. The Mac Method predates Leather Defender, and while I don't presume to speak for mac my assumption is that if Alden & Horween approve mac may as well. Please keep me updated on LD and how it holds up over time. Thanks.

    Probably just the way the leather is folding in those particular poses... I was resting the shoes on the heel. The boots are normal, will look more natural as they get more wear (cordovan boots can be stiff out of the box, especially around the ankles)

    what are you using on these shoes? the color looks good, but different than i expect from natural cxl.

    I've lightly applied neatsfoot oil a couple times, other than that I pretty much follow Mac method on them, brushing after each wear.

    The marble Indys are sweet. Maybe Leffot will restock (only 10D showing as in stock).
