I can't wait to rock these with a nice blue or surplus green cotton suit, or jeans and a tee.

Question: how best to protect these bad boys? Obviously they are not going to be impervious to stains and I don't mind beating up suede but these could definitely benefit from some added precaution given their color.

Also...if someone has a good in for flat lace buying in other colors, let me know! these might get a swap...

For me they are TTS. I'm a 8.5D Barrie and these are a 9 D in the Grant. I might have been able to fit a 8.5 D on Grant but got these off of B&S so didn't have a chance to try.

I'm a bit tardy with my Cigar Cap Toe boots. These are with the Comando Soles and are from Alden DC . I am generally 10D TTS but wear 9.5D in the Barrie last. For these Cap Toes in the Grant last, I sized up to 10D on Kathy's recommendation. I love how they fit, generally slimmer, narrrower in the toe box but a bit longer. Really, whether to size up or not depends on how roomy the Barrie is for you; those that find the Barrie is slightly roomy could probably take the same size in the Grant. If the Barrie is fairly snug, then size up.
