Not a plaza fan homie, too chiseled and squarish.

I'm all about the barrie. Classic. American. Tank.

Will be rocking with junya type fits.

Barrie is way too bulky for me, I love the plaza. Why don't you find a place that does special orders dude, and use the hampton last? It is a nice last.

Barrie is awesome for a boot though, its tank - boots are meant to be worn buff and tough, while the more refined lasts are great for shoes.

    Nice, gnatty.

My response to pull-up leather borders on fetish. I may need to talk to someone about that (like an Alden dealer).

Is the brown one a J Crew Indy or the new 403 Chromexcel?

Neither actually, ordered from ShoeMart where they are calling it the Bootmaker's Edition 405.

They are, but I think they may be distressed for J Crew, at least when I saw them at the Liquor Store they appeared to be.

^^ The J Crew are distressed - I made a comparison with my Epaulet x Alden boots when I first got them.

I have several pairs and the Barrie is my favorite... The Plaza is too pointy for my taste...

How do the Indy's compare sizing wise to Desert Boots? I want to order a pair but not sure how the sizing works.

Not sure which desert boots you are referring to, but I know I size a half down from my normal size.
