Does anyone here have BOTH Ravello Wingtip boots (Shoemart, Epaulet) AND Ravello LWB's? I have Shoemart Ravello WT boots already, but I'm on the fence about whether it would be overly redundant to add the LWB'S. Any thoughts on this?

I think Cigar for the saddle with that same textured leather, on a non-Barrie last would be great. I'd be in for that.

I don't think we could get Navy shell from Alden.

I have a pair of Alden saddle oxfords that I really liked and I thought looked great, but unfortunately I have realized I can't wear Barrie lasted shoes because of the width of the heel. I am selling my pair in my signature if anyone is interested.

Regardless, saddles are really great and unique style that retailers have shown great creativity with.

That's a superb shoe. I had a hard time not buying that shoe for myself, but the Barrie heel kills it every time.

Just saw the Hampton Medallion Blucher (Leather Soul)... beautiful. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Hampton last and the single oiled waterlock sole. I'm about to pull the trigger on either the NST in cigar, PTB in whiskey, or this Medallion blucher in color 8. I already have a couple of LWB in black and J Crew's Tobacco. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well, this is probably something we need to move over to the Alden MTO thread again (where I think joenobody has already expressed interest), but I'm game for a shell/other leather combo saddle oxford on a non-Barrie last, with the shell as the primary material. Cigar sounds great to me, but I like #8 as well and that would likely make it a much quicker shoe to get. As I understand it, we need at least 12 interested and it seems like these MTO ideas run aground on getting the requisite number to agree on a set of details. Maybe I'll throw up a poll on the MTO thread to see if we get a quorum.

Boot does not equal shoe - not sure I see a redundancy (how's that for enabling behavior?)

Quick picture of #8 shortwing in class. Low-lighting, but better pic to come.

That would be me. Perhaps it is a little redundant, but I find the shoes are useful for more formal dress, and the boots for casual days. However, if you don't have the complete spectrum of shell colours, I'd get one of those first.
