1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

If I'm not wearing my Indy boots I'm barefoot or wearing vibram fivefingers for all my hiking/trekking/backpacking/exercising/chillaxing. Shoes are shoes. I don't really think it matters what style you're wearing, they're going to be warm in the summer. So pick the style you like best and enjoy wearing them. An extra couple inches up your ankle, or a few more eyelets won't melt your feet.

Just noticed North River charged my card for my #8 Indys not due in for 12 weeks. Not cool.

North River sent me a pair of shoes that have clearly been worn... very badly and unevenly creased.

Did North River tell you in advance that it would take twelve weeks to receive your order?

Ordered on line and received an email about the 12 weeks. Just went to pay my cc and noticed the charge.

It probably "won't melt someone's feet" but the comfort will absolutely be different.
Even from one type of loafers (lined) and another (unlined), I can feel the difference. Comfort is far more important than style in my opinion ( 'oh really ?' :) ).

Personally, I like the tan ones best - given that I'm not one to wear suede into winter and necessitating really dark colors. Can understand snuff though.

I have tan. Dark brown and snuff would be more versatile for me; I'd wear those year round.

or maybe even white. when you get them in the early summer months, theyll be nice and white. by the time fall rolls around, they will have changed colors resembling a NYC sidewalk. I hear NYC sidewalk is going to be the popular F/W 2012 look

Funny, I know exactly where 2111 Center St. in Berkeley should be, but I don't think the building exists any more. Thanks for posting!

Dark brown ... good all through the year, and can be worn with pretty much any outfit.

Funny, I heard the same - do you know the Pantone colors that will be prevalent? Just curious.
