That looks amazing. Might cop. How close is the color to tan suede? I wonder if the boots would go well with me Alden belt. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk

Nice recommendation! does anyone know if these come with the commando sole as an option or if shoemart could install a different bottom?

Haven't seen them in person, but they will definitely age dark since they're natural chromexcel. There are pictures floating around in this thread of the patina natural chromexcel usually develops.

IIRC, Shoemart won't add soles for you, but a reputable cobbler could. B. Nelson is highly recommended on this forum, so you could start there.

A side effect of having a good NYE is spilled drinks on the boots. Sugguestions on taking care of the stains?

    Great photos.

Did you buy your shoes from Tassels? I want to stop by there the next time I am in Hong Kong (likely late spring / early summer).

Does anyone know of Alden boots with a crepe sole other than the Little Tanks or the Roy Boot? I was hoping to get something before the Roy boots come in and I can't stop drooling over that crepe sole.

That Tremont last looks pretty damn good. Does it fit tts or is it better to size down ½ size? It's borderline on the Alden sizing last chart...

I wear the same size in Tremont and Barrie. Tremont is definitely tighter, but manageable.
