1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Summer is on the horizon and the blue suede is looking nice. Very nice purchase from Leffot & and I appreciate you sharing. Enjoy wearing them and as always wear them in health.

I'd like to ask some thoughts about this: wearing a shell cordovan boot, like an Indy, without regard of the luxury price tag, and not treating it like a baby, but letting it get wet, scratched, etc., in the same way you'd wear a pair of leather work boots. This should allow for a different character as they wear.

It feels like I read this once a month.. They are your shoes, do whatever suits you. If you visit the sufu shoe/boots thread regular/harsh treatment is their favored aging method for cordovan & they look pretty much the same as SF "babied" shoes as soon as they are polished (+some scuffs).

im consistently impressed with the lack of creasing. besides getting the appropriate fit, is their anything else you do to minimize creasing? looks beautiful

+1 Creasing always looks so minimal, which is crazy since I know a some of Mac's shoes are 30+ years old.

Zippy - I know this has been asked a million times, but who sells those navy suede chukkas? Was it just Tassels or was there another place that sold something similar? I really need a pair of blue suede something.

those were awesome. why are you selling them? and why do you put yourself through this constant hassle. On an unrelated note, when are the EG's going on sale?

I've been wondering where you've been.

I spaced and had to check my old emails. They were from Epaulet in Spring 2010.

I like to try new things and don't like a big shoe closet. I keep it under 10 pairs generally or things just don't get worn.

I too was very disappointed that our MTO Whiskey Indy was not made to our specs. One would think that after 8 months of waiting...

Anyway, I passed on mine, so there is a 10D available if anyone wants it. Give Kathy a call...
