Hi Guys, I need your expert help in identifying the lasts of this Indy boots I bought. A quick rundown,
I bought them in UK, from a store called Browns. I requested a UK9.5 as that is my size. I want to pick up some more Alden now that I know that UK9.5 in the Alden boots I have fits very well. The problem is they did not know the name of the last of this pair they sold me. I reckon the last is a Trubalance but I would like to double check here before I go and buy some other styles of Alden especially when buying from the states considering the expensive p&p.
Please note I specifically asked for a UK9.5 and I also tried a UK 9. Funny thing is in the boots, the sizing is written as 9.5 c/e. I asked them again if they were sure as I assumed the sizing in Alden shoes will be written in their American sizes as Alden is an American shoemaker. Browns confirmed it was the UK size in the boots. Is this possible that because ALden made the boots for a Uk retailer they would put the UK size on the boot rather the American.
Many thanks in advance.

Pics of said boots!

Yes, pics of motorcycle beat up aldens! Because I've got 3 pair I'm eyeing and I ride, too. I want to see what I can look forward to! :D

Here's some photos of my Unionmade grant last captoes. Daily motorcycle riding. Its pretty amazing actually how little damage there is from riding. If you click the photos for close ups you can see it better. I took these today after riding in the rain. I'm pretty sure I could polish out 90% of the scuffs in the photos. Maybe I'll do it later and post some before and after shots. Shell is some seriously resilient material.

With how stodgy they can be, I have to assume Alden does not resize shoes for foreign markets. That being the case, you have a pair of E width shoes which are considered wide in terms of US standards (D being medium width). These would be equivalent to an F width in the UK.

Those look great--congrats on wearing them like real boots. I would imagine 100% of the scuffs/dull spots could easily be polished out with Saphir Renovateur and some paste wax and get you back to an incredible shine.
