What color Indy Boot should I get i I could only have one and I'm going to wear it with jeans almost all the time.................

An escort/hooker is less likely to steal the original 403 or 405s, so that might be something to consider :D
Seriously though, go with the original color. I have a pair and they are surprisingly versatile.

Also, I might be the only person who doesn't like those JCrew/Alden suede crepe sole boots. I tried them on and they looked like I was wearing uggs. without the moc toe stitching, the trubalannce last looks so blobby.

Cigar in commando sole

home run idear, robin

Any color will work.

+1. I have the 405, the black pair, and the tabacco chamois. the 405 is the most versatile IMO but both the black and tabacco are just as easily paired. however, some people dislike the contrast stitching of the black pair and the hand stitched mock toe of the tabacco so make sure to consider that before purchasing

+1000. not a fan at all and the contrast between the indigo and suede is much too loud. even for my tastesmant" url="/t/85589/the-official-alden-thread-supported-by-leather-soul/15555#post_4788416"]

Or go with a more reputable escort/hooker that doesn't steal your ****.

yesterday I gave blood and one of the questions they asked was 'have you payed for sex either from a prostitute, escort, etc' twas no question regarding the quality or asking price of da escort.

At least you weren't selling your blood to buy more Aldens!

Traditionally, one sells one's blood (or is it ones' blood?) to obtain funds for the purchase of cheap wine.

I will certainly defer to the gentlemen from Detroit on all matters involving the sale of blood (all body parts for that matter) and the uses of the proceeds therefrom.

haaa, thats awesome. must be the shoes :p I never have the balls to apply for those positions. Maybe next year, when I have 3 years of grown-up work experience

also, those longwings look good with the gray slacks. im assuming they are on the barrie last? I just think barrie last is too bulky with a suit. If I do wear an Alden shoe/boot with a suit, it has to be on the Plaza/Grant/Leydon/Aberdeen last. In any case, they look great

I wear the barrie last with my suits (#8 longwing, ravello plain toe), I think it works well. It's definitely different from the sleeker style shoe you see commonly here in NY, but I like that

I have a wedding to go to this weekend.

Rehearsal Dinner - Navy blazer, grey slacks, purple check shirt, #8 longwing

Wedding - Navy suit, pink / white stripe shirt, dark red knit tie, tie bar, white pocket square... deciding between the1) ravello PTB 2) Ralph Lauren darlton wingtips 3) ravello tassels. I think the red tones in the ravello would work well with this...

anyone pick up those J Crew lined chukkas? they look like mighty fine. will the lining keep the suede from stretching as much as the unlined? my feets are wide.
