Depends on what last the bluchers are on. I'm a 10D on the Barrie and wear a 10.5D in the Lombards.

^ Generally that shoe (the 975, or #8 longwing) is on the Barrie last, which generally requires that you size down a half size from your TTS size.

If you wear a 9D TTS, with the #8 longwing, you'd be an 8.5D most likely. Calling a trusted Alden retailer, like Epaulet or Leather Soul, or one of the Alden stores, is a good idea; they'd be able to give sizing advice over the phone and could take an order.

This is one of the best looking pairs of Alden boots I've seen. The big punch on the cap makes the boot and gives them a really cool vintage look. As was mentioned before, these are on the spendy side, but I'd love to see one of our US retailers do a version of this to bring the cost down...paging Leather Soul, Unionmade, Leffot, etc.

Lots of great Alden eye candy recently between these and the awesome longwings from Unionmade. Keep 'em coming!

Yeah, they're nice, but I agree. I always think of golf shoes when I see two-tone.

I have to agree. If this forum exists to function as one huge circlejerk where we talk about how awesome it is to spend money on things with obvious quality faults, then what's the point?

Im gonna send some chukkas in to get resoled/cleaned up, but was wondering how the relasting works - could I say, go from an 11.5D to an 11D? Or only to an 11E?
