Is there a way I can set up a search to find an 11.5C trubalance lasted shell cordovan indy? Nowhere seems to stock this size, I would love a notification like eBay does for saved searches. Does anyone know of a program/website/AI that can do this?

Just go into eBay, do a search on what you want, you'll get results, then they have the option to save that search and email you daily - I have a search setup for 10.5 EEE Ravello in Alden Longwings (I have zero chance of finding this shoe, but at least I'm trying with a saved search - LOL) - good luck!

Aside from the other suggestions, if you are looking at black or color 8, you should be able to reach out to a retailer that does a regular run of these (any of the "Alden" branded stores, The Shoe Mart, Brick and Mortar, etc) and get in a list for the next order. For black and color 8 Indys, you should be able to get something within a year or so in a rare size.

Thanks, I had been to Alden in NYC recently hoping to try out Plaza but they didn't have a single model on it, so I was excited when these popped up on Ebay at a very good price for cigar shell. I suspected the fit would work well for me based on feedback I got on this thread, and man, it's a dream.

and my own clumsiness, I'm sometimes amazed that I have any unscathed pairs of shoes at all. 😅

Same here. It was an evening appointment, so I’d planned to change into sneakers, but ran out of time. Ended up with so much hair on my pants and shoes. No regrets

I think the plaza last was introduced by a german retailer. They are called möller & möller and nudged Alden to invent the last. At least they claim to.

Cigar LHS w/Moon wool J crew pents. First time wearing these thick wool pants this season. I don't remember them being this itchy. Standing up is ok.
