I told Yenni that I was there in spirit (as I live in Massachusetts). Looked like a nice event.Anyone hit the B+M 'event' Saturday (yesterday)? I couldn't make it but will try next time.

Oh ya. Yenni's "Uptown..."Remind me again what those are?
So I can cross my fingers that they're both available and actually fit me haha
Tremendous.
I also recently scored the 9901 as a complement to my collection. I absolutely love my 990’s and I don’t know why I waited so long to obtain this standard catalog model but I feel as if I’ve finally locked in a solid role player I could never live without. After all the rare chasing, this simple almost unnoticeable model is one of my all time favorites. For you youngin’s, the standard catalog models are long time classic standards for a reason and a great way to build a relationship with retailers who can help you attain your rare and special makeup goals. So, do as I don’t, and build from the ground up. Your rare will come in time.Lately I wanted a black, non-brogue shoe for the summertime joining my parade of brogues from C&J, Tricker's and my beloved C8 975.
For me there was always only one choice and yesterday I finally took it home:

Why just summertime? Wear 'em year round!
Speaking of standard catalog offerings: I’d sure like to see the 2145 and 2146 come back someday.
