Can't escape Alden no matter where I go. Stopped into Radiance Blue in Shanghai. Not much of a selection. Only 3 shells..and nothing on the rare side..would have taken the black shell V-Tip boots (the name of the insoles alone would be a nice souvenir before it faded from use) but Asia is not a good place for tall big footed folks to find clothing I'm afraid. Largest in anything they had was an 11..😪

Industrial shop Shanghai.. better selection than yesterday.. and unfortunately nothing in my size..which really bites because these loafers would have been mine..

Yeah, those loafers (look Ravello but could certainly be Whiskey) are next level but heck, I could say the thing about the C8 Cap boots as well as a couple of their black shell offerings. That is one nice shop @JTMD. Good luck holding on to your wallet.

Model number indicates these are Ravello.
They are nice shade.

I really wanted to lighten the wallet..just nothing my size. Finally come to a shop displaying hard to find Alden shells and unfortunately happen to be in a country where 6'4 guys are rarer than # 2 Shell 😅

Absolutely..but it's not a secret find..I just pulled it off the Alden website myself. 😁. One word of caution..Google maps put me a block or so off and I had to look at the building numbers myself. It's in a more active area. Lots of shops on the street to include a bunch of "vintage" places (didn't stop in at any of them as I'm not really into vintage). Not very far from the Shangri-la in Jing an. They also carry a couple other decent manufacturers such as Weston

The one I posted earlier with the smaller stocklist is,Radiance Blue. Careful not to go to the Bund Center. That's an old address. They are now at

HKRI Taikoo Hui mall, 789 Nanjing W.Road, (L278 in the mall).

This is the mall next to the big Starbucks special reserve roastery.

Wing tip Wednesday, but on Thursday, at doctor office. My feet have changed so much over past couple of years, I can't wear these (and many others) for more than a few hours without discomfort. Makes me sad.....
