Is this unlined dover? Which retailer sells this makeup?

A few retailers have the unlined color #8 dover but with antique edges. But as far as I know Alden’s shop in DC is the only domestic retailer that has it with the dark mahogany edge.

8D van still felt big in the heel
9C van feels good and thats what i take

i think im the same as you. i take TB and modified at 8.5C and barrie at 8.5D.

This is very similar to my sizing. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm closer to 9C than 9D.

I even take 8.5C in Barrie for dress shoes because I wear thin dress socks and for boots I wear boot socks.

Most take the same size in Van and Trubalance, so 11.5 is a good place to start.

i can “fit” in an 8.5C barrie but since it tapers in the toe box i prefer to take a D and tighten the laces. it’s a little looser in the heel but i have more space for my toesies lol. im not sure if this strategy would work with boots though.

maybe a controversial take but im not in love with the barrie last, at least when its on my feet.. however, i do think it makes for beautiful make ups. i guess i love how it looks but not how it feels for me lol

How does a Barrie last differ to Van?

From what I’ve gathered both run larger by about 1/2 size. Barrie has a rounder toe. Anything else?

I'm a size 12D in Hampton, modified, and Barrie, with modified being a splendid fit, Hampton being very good and Barrie being a bit imperfect but doable. Any idea what I can assume to be my size for a loafer, specifically Aberdeen?
