Unfortunately all of those are very old, dating back to when they did color 8 w/brass and not new stock.

oh dang, I didn't realize that. I thought I stumbled into a new offering. Any insights in to why they don't actually offer it?

If I recall correctly, Alden changed the finishing or acrylic glaze that they use on color 8 and that new process damaged (maybe tinted) the brass eyelets so they had to stop the color 8 & brass combo.

I forget the exact specifics so hopefully one of the Alden experts can weigh in if I have that wrong.

These boomerangs were back in the stable on Thursday and on-feet on Friday. I’ve missed missed them ever since @ironclad (just a great dude to deal with BTW) and I did a swap a year or so ago. Really happy to have them back and they instantly crack the rotation. Dr. J’s from B&M……

Crappy photos may not show it but these puppies glow as much as any 8 I own.

Well, color 8 DOES look good with Brass, at least IMHO.

Took a 3 day vacation in Monterrey a couple of weeks ago, all excited to check out the store but needed to find an excuse to tell my wife why I needed to go shoe shopping. First time I realized there was no physical store, and I even have a GMTO from them .
