In 2013, this ravello chukka was my grail boot and when I finally got my hands on them in 2014, I never let them out of my sight. ?

For the first few months that I owned them I think I stared at them more than I wore them. ?

Looking forward to many more years of enjoyment from these boots as they continue to get better.

Great shoe, great post!

3 inches of snow, then 2 inches of rain, then more snow. Proper boots are required. I anticipated such conditions when I ordered them so I went up 1/2 size. They now accommodate thin foam inserts and thick socks for additional warmth.

Beautiful addition to the family, mayor!
That Atom pattern is one of Alden's finest; and in Ravello? next level !
Thanks Mike! Now if I could only keep my footwear looking as pristine as yours :)

GRRRRRR left boot toe, have no idea what happened, but the mark is there to stay View attachment 1738058

AuDog, those are not looking to bad, but definitely have some worn in character, which looks nice to me. You have a nice shine on those!

Unlined Brown Shells
Wish Alden made these.. View attachment 1738299

Chippy, looking good in the good ole Crocketts. Do wish Alden would do Unlined Shell Loafers again!

Football on tv, no dog in this fight, wife turned channel to some true crime stuff, might as well polish some boots....Ealdwine Rockefeller, Collonil 1909 and some brushing View attachment 1738311

AuDog, looks like you had a great evening with a casual football game, some while, and some casual brushing. Football and brushing go together in my mind as well! :)

Chilly weekend in Asheville, NC.

Those Denali Indy's are looking truly superb and you are wearing them well with that overall ensemble. Love that lovely looking hardwood!!!

Quick pic of my favorite bad weather shoes. Six eye Indy Ox.

JT2gt, those Indy Shoes are looking great on you!! Hope that you enjoyed them in the weather!

AuDog, those Snuff V-Tip Boots are just stellar. I love those and hope that you wore them well today!!

Really tested these puppies today. Took the fam to the sledding hill. Climbed up and down through packed ice, deep snow banks and slush for over 2 hours. Feet perfectly dry except for tiny leak in the front through the welt. I’d call it a great performance!

Darkishhaddock, yes, you really put those boots to the test! Glad that they took good care of you and kept you largely warm and dry!!!

Serbarristan, your Arabica Lux PT Boots are looking great on you today! Looking sharp and will age nicely!

Caligula, those Cigar LHSes are looking superb on you and a huge +1 for the argyles!!!

Officially joined the Alden family today. Snagged a pair of reverse chamois boots as a last chance item from Alden of Carmel. Heck of a deal for such a nice pair. View attachment 1738673

Johnnie, those Ravello Chukkas are looking just superb and I love the wear over the years look. They look just as good today as they did when you got them!!! That is such a great model and such a great way to showcase the Shell Cordovan material!

Hi guys,

I’m a total Alden newbie and stumbled upon these LHS loafers and wanted to know what you can tell me about how these fit? Of course this is personal and everyone’s feet are different, but for reference I’m a 7,5 UK in Paraboot and a 7,5 or 8 UK depending on the last in C&J.

Thanks in advance :)
