11 month wait for the color 8 Wick Boots from Snake Oil Provisions. Worth the wait.

Beautiful boots. Do they give you the urge or confidence to kill a building full of bad guys?

Oh yeah !

Nice.
How do these compare to your old TSM D5825C???

Well, to a non-addict, they certainly seem similar. My TSM pair has the nicest shade of color 8 of all my boots. The barrie last, all eyelets and 270 welt on those make it a slightly dressier boot, thought it does have the antique edge which makes it a bit more casual.

I really love the SOP boot for its TB last, dark edges and commando. TB comfort is so key.

If that wasn't enough I also have San Fran's PT Color 8 boot, which is a combo of the two above: 360 welt, commando, eyes and hooks and dark edge trim.

Love them all.

Thank you for the insight. They look great!
I thought adding a third pair of color #8 was too much.
After seeing that @smfdoc owns every shoe known to man in color #8, I have decided that a third pair would be justified.

A trip to the airport today amidst rain, snow and plunging temperatures. Time for some boots!

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
