I am a size 6.5D in the Barrie last. I have a pair of Cordovan LWB and a pair of Cordovan PTB.

I am looking to purchase a pair of Alden x Brogue Cigar Club Derby (Plaza Last). Unfortunately, size 7D in out of stock. However, they still have size 6.5E in stock. Do you guys think that I will be able to fit size 6.5E in the Plaza last? Will it fit pretty similar to size 7D? Thanks in advance.

I’ll start with the obligatory ‘feet are tricky and YMMV’ caveat and say that, yes, based on your Barrie size, going up a width in Plaza should work. I will also say that I spent my entire Alden shoe journey sizing up from Barrie to Plaza and only recently discovered that Plaza same as Barrie works even better for me.

Less than 2 minutes in the store when another Dad dude says "Are those Alden Indy's?"

Why yes, yes they are.
Love the boots, the LC looks like the FJ40 I had in the 1980's until some idiot decided to total it, he was drunk, it was parked in front of the house at night, it seems he COULDN'T SEE THE YELLOW color vehicle under the street light. Insurance replaced it with a Jeep....
