I think all this talk of "shoe trees" is just trolling as every sane person knows, shoes do NOT grow on trees. Boots may be a different story and more research is required.

I’m indifferent. With the wear I put on my shoes, they will outlive me regardless if I tree them or not. All of my pairs are stored with trees inserted. After I wear a pair, sometimes I’ll put the trees in right away, other times they have sat for a couple of days sans trees.

Wish I remembered to get some pics of these when the sun was still shining, but regardless, always a pleasure to wear these Straight Tip Color 8 Boots (All Eyelet!) from B&M. The Double Waterloo soles are so comfy and didn't have any reservations wearing these even after it had rained early this AM.

I like the way that pair is detailed, especially the outsole and the upper matching eyelets.
Yes sir. I agree. I stopped into the store that day looking for a jacket and walked out with some blue suede indys. ?

Does anyone know of a retailer that sells a brown calfskin tassel loafer with the foxing on the back like the older BB models?

Something like this but in a brown calfskin or cordovan

Poking my head up again as I don’t get to SF much these days but a work dinner tomorrow means I get to wear some fancy shoes. Decided to with my Leffot 10th Anny Cooney boot. As with much of my shell, these had a bunch of bloom but cleaned up masterfully with a simple wipe and brush. First shot is after wiping/brushing the boot on the right. Second shot is once complete and third is with laces back in……..

My exotics look great on the rack but every time I reach for something, it’s good ole color 8.

Edit: this is really strange but when I spell out the name of the boot my browser replaces the Coo with ***. As a Black man I think I see what they’re trying to guard against so I appreciate the thought but wow.
