Have you ever thought about a pair of your shoes, and realized you had not worn or even seen them for so long that you may have sold them? Well, with moving a year ago and Covid, I realized I had not seen or worn my black shell perfed cap toe in over a year. Old photos showed they were last worn in November 2019 and a search finally located them. So after a 17 month break, they deserved to get out of the house today.

Good looking shoes! I wore my unlined suede bluchers for a walk in the park and ended up with a nasty rubbing on my heel.... Kind of put a damper on my keenness for them.

Do you have any issues with wearing yours sockless?

How do those wear compared to the other LHSs? I have Rancourts for casual use but since they don’t fit me nearly as well as the Alden LHS, i’ve thought about a pair of the 5730. I’ve hesitated because they’re lined and perhaps warmer. I also wonder how comfortable the sole is.
