...I can wear modified in same sizing although modified is not a sleek looking :)
that’s an understatement

Let's keep it clean gentlemen especially for those of us who may not have much choice. Modified looks good for some styles, okay for others, and plain weird for some. Although almost all look terrible in website pictures.

Yeah and I feel like it's been a brass fest this past year or so. More brass make ups than not. And only reason we don't see more is Alden won't allow it on #8, otherwise it would probably be almost everything.

Which is interesting that it took so long to get such embrace.

Over time does the brass lose its new brightness and take on an antique/dark color ?

It shouldn’t. I’ve seen regular agatine eyelets turn rusty and green over time around the edges but brass seems to retain its brightness reasonably well.

I have a couple Indy bootson Modified and TSM’s natty CXL plain toe boot on Modified and love the look/shape of them. I think Indy boots especially look great on Modified. But there are many others I’ve seen on that last that look.....less good.

I think v-tips, wingtips, and u-tips look pretty good on Modified. Anything with a cap, not so much. Just makes it look even wider than it already is and highlights how "crooked" the last looks from above.
