I appreciate the amount of black shell you show and wear. It deserves more popularity. No Aldens today (so far) as I opted for vintage Florsheims. The same model that I stripped and dyed into the Golden Harvest model.

9794 LWB Snuff suede (left)
9503 PTB Hummus suede (right) but I have heard it called all kinds of "Alden" suede colors from Brown to Light Brown to Hummus. It is definitely not Dark Brown or Loden and most seem to say "Hummus".

I do not know why but this made me laugh. I am planning a possible in-person trip to The Shoe Mart next week because my online order of factory seconds was a total fail (mostly due to sizing issues on my part). Google Maps shows the left picture if you search by address and the right picture if you search by name.

Hi all...looking for a blucher or similar in loden in a 7.5D. Ealdwine and J. Crew have them, but sold out in my size. TSM only has a slip-on. Not interested in a chukka, high boot, or anything unlined for this one. Appreciate the info...thanks!

The ones I wore today are stock 93602. I had a second pair that I stripped and dyed to approximate the Golden Harvest model Florsheim made at the same time. The dyed shoes are seen below.
