Well ****. I was checking the tracking on a grail pair and noticed the retailer shipped them to California where I lived a year ago. Not sure why they would do this as they have my correct address and have even shipped me other shoes just a month ago. :brick::brick::brick:
Clerical error, "the computer made a mistake". Pretty sure they can get them re-routed, somehow.

Out and about today in my B&M Snuff Suede "Debonair" Wingtip Boots. About to place an order for the B&M "Davis" Perf Toe Boot that Yenni just got in. Someone recently posted their pair and they looked spectacular!

Happy Saturday forum pals. Off with Mrs. smfdoc to get some lunch (indoors, how fancy) and boots are the order of the day. Too bad they did not stick brass on these Ravellos.

I think brass would have been a disservice to those amazing classically styled boots.

Similarly, I think these boots need the tonal eyelets they have. I do not think every boot needs brass.

Brass does not need to be on everything. It's nice, but some footwear should be more "plain"

6845 in black cordovan. It's the BB model but I believe it's the same?
My go to loafer right now. Surprised by how versatile black shell is.
I love black shell, but I wear grays and navy during the week and denim on the weekend. My only new Alden this year is black shell; and 2 more on the way. 2021 shaping up to be the year of black shell for me.

The 1493 Snuff Suede chukka arrived yesterday. First pair of snuff suede I’ve owned and I’m very pleased with them. I’m a 9E on the Barrie last and went to 10E on the Leydon last. The 9.5E on the Leydon was too snug in the toe box (regardless of sock thickness). The 10E maybe just a tad on the loose side but definitely more comfortable and nothing that can’t be remedied with a slightly thicker sock.
