Thanks for this. No high arches, if anything the opposite. I’ll only wear thin no-show socks or even go sockless, so hopefully it’ll work. I’ll report back, eventually.

I think you'll be just fine honestly. Especially with thin socks or sockless.

Happy Friday forum pals. Hunting green suede LWBs for some work from home today. I'm surprised that the color is no longer available and has actually fallen in to the "one that got away" category.

Good looking shoes! That longwing pattern is so forgiving and makes every leather look good!

It's funny that Barrie doesn't look blobby on your feet! I suppose it's the B width which really makes the toe look sleek.

I think it’s just the length of the shoe, which extends and accentuates the horizontals. I think my 13D Barrie LWBs & PTBs look sleek, but the same shoes look blobby to me in smaller sizes. Or it could just be my vanity.

I got my big feet from my mother, who was a shoe model for a time. They had to make the shoes especially big for her because she was beyond the standard women’s sizes. To go through all that trouble suggests that they might have liked the way the shoes looked in the bigger sizes.

Yes, potentially that as well!

Barrie on small feet is quite rounded because the proportions are that much smaller on small feet.

That's funny about shoe modeling in larger sizes. Both AE and Alden seem to make "trial run pairs" in the 9-10 range. No idea why other than the fact that's probably a popular size plus less material wasted than a size 13, for example.

Haven't worn these J. Crew PCTs in a year, so an early a.m. vet appointment is as good an excuse as any!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, as always!
Those jeans are ???
What are they?

I have a similar experience as you do. Leffot did a run of the Greenwich boot in hunting green reverse chamois, they sold out and I found a pair in my size on eBay. I thought about it too long and they were sold.

Oh man, I've slept on too many great Leffot makeups in the past. Those WTs are top of the list, along with the navy reverse chamois Indys. Forever in search of those now...

I would be all over these if they were on the reg indy sole. The blue suede is fire!
I felt like that too, but was persuaded to try these out. I'm happy to report that my mind was completely changed once I had the boots in hand and was able to try them out. I won't actively seek out the wedge sole, but it's very comfortable, light, and superbly executed in this pair.
