Does anyone have any experience with Alden seconds in suede? I’ve only ever bought them in shell. Are suede pairs any more likely to show flaws?

I have a couple pair of seconds in suede, and on one pair the flaw was to the lining and not visible. The other pair has what looks like someone went a little crazy with edge dressing or burnishing on the suede above the heel. Honestly, I would have no reservations of getting another pair of suede seconds. They can always be returned if REALLY bad.Does anyone have any experience with Alden seconds in suede? That’s not bad at all. The two shell pairs I have are visibly flawed (scarring due to inaccurate tracing of the perfing on LWB and stitching on LHS) but I don’t really care because they are mostly hidden by the dark color and shell is a rough material anyways.I have a couple pair of seconds in suede, and on one pair the flaw was to the lining and not visible. Just brush it with suede brush to get debris off. Nothing else needs to be doneHow does one care for Tobacco (or Earth) Reverse Chamois?
I have my shoe care procedures (almost) perfected for calfskin, suede, nubuck, and even shell but am not sure what to do about this oil infused suede/leather. Does one brush it and how often? Does it need to be waterproofed? Does it need to be conditioned? How do you clean it and what products are used?
I am about to pull the trigger on these shoes but would like to be prepared to take care of them correctly.
