Uh oh...

Close, but no cigar......need eyelets AND hooks, don't like all eyelet boots. Not going to inflate the cost of the boot by a hundred of so to have eyelets replaced, not worth it to me.....but good find.

Think Ealdwine or Madison would run them?

I will check in to it tomorrow. Funny thing is, I want to use them as yard work/garden boots (first world problems and all), so hooks and leather or Waterloc sole would be preferable.
I use the AE Higgins Mill Factory Seconds for this very purpose...

My color 8 belt from Ealdwine finally arrived. Pretty good color match to Alden color 8

V, your new belt is looking superb and a great match for your boots!

If anyone is interested those Mahogany edge styles dropped last night at Drake's. Cheers.

BAK, those lovely makeups are very nice. A great and classic family to kick off a great and classic store nicely.

AuDog, looking great in your truly classic combination of American legends.

FT, your King Tankers are looking great. A great boot and will be able to take what you give ‘em.

Good day for some boots.

looking great and getting them anti-bodies!

Morning gentlemen. These Ravello wingtip boots hit an important milestone this year, now being 10 years old.

V, happy Birthday to them boots. Those are a truly magical style and nothing does them justice quite like Ravello.

Speaking of Ravello, finally got these on the hoof today

AuDog, those King PT Boots are looking truly superb on you. Those are looking great on you and have a beautiful shade.

TC, those are one happy looking family. Four great looking variants of the NST design.

Chippy, your Suede CT Boots are looking great on you. They are looking nice and comfy with those chords.

I placed an order for an LHS Color 8 Antique Edging from an independent vendor... with the Waterloc oiled sole. I see the Madison Alden store has the same but without the Waterloc sole and the price is a bit more than the standard LHS Color 8.

Based on all I've read I perceive the Waterloc sole as a premium feature. Thoughts?

Leather Soul Ravello Shortwings - possibly the best shade of "Orangevello" ever? If anyone has a bead on their Amaretto Shortwings in 10.5 or 11D, then please let me know ? View attachment 1540743

Would be surprised if they made an 11D, they rarely make large sizes anymore. Possible they made a 10.5D.
