I still say this is the perfect dress shoe. Perf cap gives it just the right amount of pop when paired with a blue pin stripe suit. The color on yours is just incredible Savvy.

May 2021: Spring Blossoms

Gentlemen, I wanted to kick off May 2021’s monthly topic. This is our second seasonal themed topic, following our Winter Wonderland theme. Take all the time that you need to think of your personal response, as you got all month to work on a post that suits you and captures your thoughts, so no need to rush to post a response today!

Spring is just a truly exquisite time of year (well except for allergies), but the beautiful flowers are in bloom and growth is all around us. What are the Alden's that you equate with spring time? Do you start pulling out your loafer collection and suedes or day you hold back until the heat of summer? Look forward to seeing what everyone's favorite Springtime Alden!

Spring is great and May is my favorite month. For me, May is all about this

The pumpkin indy boots are such a nice color. I wonder if Alden will ever go back to that color, but that might depend on Horween making the leather color available. I am assuming that they are Horween leather here.

Could look at a pumpkin 405 all day long. Now that I’ve extricated myself from the throes of my suede chukka acquisition disorder, the 405’s are next (unless of course I’m completely overtaken by either Chelsea boot or penny loafer disorder or worse... the dreaded retro sneaker disorder which had me in its grip at the height of the pandemic).

Only time will tell. But first... breakfast. ?
