Fresh from Alden of Washington D.C., Alden Ravello "Tanker" Bluchers. The classic combination of the Norwegian Split Toe design with the Barrie Last, but in the Blucher design. A really cool model that now both DC and SF are carrying (periodically of course).

Honestly I feel like Alden has stepped up recently with all the whiskey, color 4, ravello and other shades. I also had a talk with Steven at Leffot recently - he said Alden held up among the best of his brands during the pandemic (makes sense given the causal nature of many of the makeups).

Yeah, I definitely agree! Alden definitely uses their conservative nature to keep them as close to rock solid as possible! There are perks to them not expanding their production back when demand was insane, as it helps to level off the demand curve and keep it consistent. They have definitely helped their shops out as much as possible with the exotic “bones” they have tossed at the shops.

Advice needed...I took Saphir Renovateur (did not follow 'less is more' though) to condition my black Indys and the colour bled to the white stitching. The stitches are now grey/black in most places.
Although I am coming around to accept it, any way I can get them back to the earlier white colour ?
