Hello there,
Pardon the noob question but what is the correct way to treat a pair of shell that has been over waxed/creamed? I mean outside of brushing until your arms give out?
thanks, guys

Just picked these up this afternoon from Alden of DC. They said they're cigar, but I'm seeing from here and other places they may be mocha. What do you Alden experts think? (It doesn't make a difference to me, but I'm curious.)

What is the model number stamped inside of them? That batch is a bit of a long story, but I think some of them are getting made with Mocha and some are Cigar. I thought they were going to do tonal on the Cigar batch, but it was hard to get 100% accurate info. The factory confirmed that my pair was made of Mocha.

They're D9941HC. I'm going to email the factory this morning.

That’s the mocha boot model #. However that in its own right does not eliminate the possibility that they used mocha for the first part of the order and cigar for the second part. And it’s unlikely that you’ll get that info from the factory - they will just look it up in the computer and it will probably say one or the other depending on how the order was entered.

Got myself a camera, figured I’d practice taking pictures of shoes. First up, Ravello jumpers courtesy of a forum member (who I think got them from another member?)
