I bought a used Chukka Boot Color 8 and I need some help. Since it's my firts pair of shell cordovan, I can't tell if there's something wrong with the color of the boot.
The boot It's almost new, but it seems that there a some black shades that aren't natural...I'm not sure if the previous owner used some black wax in the boot...

I took this pictures with flash. Without the light/flash the boots are very dark.

Is that something wrong with the color? If yes, what's the best way to remove the black shades?

Tks!

Regards,
I see some normal patina. Get some shoe trees and a brush and wear the **** out of them. They look sweet!

Hello, i am Neguri, and i am new in the forum. I am from Europe, Spain, and i love Alden´s shoes. Here, in my country, is not easy to get them, but i have a little collection of pairs (chukkas: 1339, 13789, 13290, 1272; long wing blucher: 975, 9794; plain toe blucher: 29336, 95080...
I have registered in this forum, because i think it´s a good place for learn more about this amazing brand and share our experiences with the different models.
Thanks a lot!

By the way, i have a dude... I usually use a 9 D or E in Barrie Last and 9,5 D in Leydon. Now, with the Black Friday sales, i have a good choice to get a pair of unlined chukkas 1493 but they are only in 9 E and i have no choice to put them before buying because its an online sale.
Do you think that could be my size thanks to the E wide and the soft material (unlined suede) or its a risk to buy them? I have an other Leydon Chukkas in 9,5 D (13290, i think they are lined in suede) and they fit me perfect.
Thanks a lot!
