Does anyone have a pair of plain toe boots with a medallion? I know they exist, but I haven't seen anyone ever post them here. I also can't find a retailer that has them for sale. I know B+M had some for sale some time earlier this year, but they aren't listed on the site anymore.

I prefer the look of the Plaza lasted boot personally, but those are nice too. Unfortunately (or fortunately), not in my size.

Snagged a pair of lightly used Alden Grant boots on the Swedish equivalent of Ebay for 280€. Excited to see how they fit when they arrive; the Barrie last fits me perfectly for shoes in size 10.5D, but the boots are 11E on the Grant last. Should be fine based on previous discussion here, but you never know....

Hi not sure if this is the right place to be asking for sizing advice.

I’m looking to purchase my first Alden (modified last, since I have wide forefoot, narrow heel asian foot shape). I have tiny feet but relatively wide forefoot (5.5ee on left foot and 6e on right) I was measured in the store in Japan.

Unfortunately all the shoes imported by the distributor in Japan are in D width and I was offered 6.5d in modified last. It feels a bit tight on the right side (no pain, slight pressure). I wear 7ee in new balance running shoes if it helps. (37 regular on the Birkenstock Arizona, but pinkie is a bit squeezed). Usually I size up to accommodate my wide forefoot (don’t like squeezed toes, I had bad corns on my pinkie toe that took a year to go away).

Do you recommend that I try to look for 6E or is the 6.5D a possible compromise? Would 6.5E be too big?

Just saw this. Your query is raising red flags. Modified Last only works if it fits perfectly.

I have 9.5 C Brannock but almost 10C on left foot and wear 9.5 B in ML although the first attempt by Moulded Shoe was 9.0 B. Too tight at that size. Sounds like they would go about about 6E on you. Gotta friend in US who could help?

There was, but Alden's out of it now (along with hunting green reverse chamois). They didn't have a whole lot of it.

These were made for Tassels HK..

Leffot also ran a Indy in navy reverse chamois.

There have also been some shoes made from it.

You should try some of the Alden brown round laces in those, bet it would look neat.
