@sterlingindigo

I have a low instep. If anything, I've sized down for shoes rather than boots in the past. For boots, the shaft normally helps secure the fit.

I've recently had some success going up half a size in length but down one in width for Barrie shoes. I normally take 10.5D in boots and went with 11C for a pair of PTBs. The fit was relatively good.

I normally wear an 8.5D in Barrie, just snagged a pair of tankers in 8.5E, I'm wondering how much difference the approx 1/16 inch will make in a boot? Guess I'll find out when they arrive, but anyone have thoughts on this? (It's a rather dull Saturday morning here, so that means stupid question day)

Anybody with medium instep size down another half size for Barrie boots compared with their Barrie shoe size? There are a couple pair of boots I’m interested in but when comparing pictures, it looks the boot version has a a higher instep.
I don't notice a difference in the fit of Barrie bluchers and boots. Both fit me beautifully ½ size down. I doubt I could get my foot in a Barrie boot full size down.
legal disclosure: I have low instep
