Speaking of horse rump leather.......severe storms forecast for later today/evening, just when I have to go out, so what better to wear than shell on commando. Had I known that Alden would not make anymore of these boots (says Mack at Brogue), I probably would have babied them, but that is history now. My only pair with a full Horween stamp on the tongue, and no sun fade, just wear and tear and time on the feet.

I feel that it is more brown than Cigar, in appearance it is like 403 Indy boot brown, to my eye.

Just search for 'waxed cotton laces' and some options will pop up. Approx 50 cents each with free delivery so I got a bunch of colours. It can take anywhere from 20 to 40 days for shipping though.
