Gents--
Looking at some 2160s on Abderdeen. I'm 10eee in Hampton with some room. Should be fine?
Thanks...

I find these types of posts uninspiring, but...

NST makeup for Brogue (“Manchester”), on the Hampton.

This is only my second pair by them – the first being a pair of bluchers on a modified Barrie last I had a couple years ago – but I think Aldens might provide the best fit that I've found for my misfit feet.

Those look really good.

Well, footwear change, heading out in a while for outdoor supper. Brogue Clint boot, Grant last. this may be the only Grant lasted pair of footwear I have and it's quite comfortable View attachment 1437627
Grant last remains a mystery to me. Did you go with your Aberdeen size or your Barrie size? and how does it fit compared to the other lasts in your size?

I went with my Aberdeen size, which surprisingly is the same as Barrie for me. I know it's rather out of the ordinary, but I am the same size in EVERYTHING. In TB and Barrie, I wear a little thicker boot sock, thiner socks or none in Aberdeen. I find the Grant is dead on for my feet, with Aberdeen a close second, arch area, ball hits right. Toe box is a bit tighter in Aberdeen, but I don't find it uncomfortable in the least. Podiatrist has commented (I see him every year due to some serious ankle/foot injuries earlier in life) that I have (his words) Odd Feet. He has checked my feet in the same size Aberdeen/TB/Barrie and said yes, they all fit fine, but they shouldn't, but they do....I have given up trying to figure it out, and just order the same size in everything Alden. Now, with AE or GS I'm a bit different, but don't seem to wear them as often any more (shhhhhh........I like the Aldens more)
