Hello, all. I've been following this thread for a few weeks now, and finally decided to join and jump in. Lots of great stuff here! Been into Aldens for a while now, but it's gotten more serious (or worse?!) lately. For my first post, I figured I'd share my first pair of shells - medallion captoe bluchers from AoC:

I love the FedEx guy. He brings the best packages.

Putting these to work right away. First time trying Tremont last. Fits TTS. A bit tighter in the instep than Hampton, but should close up better as my foot settles in. Cross lacing for now for break in, then back to straight lace.

Is there any reason to avoid getting Saphir super invulner on brass hardware? Was all set to spray a new pair of suede boots and realized I haven’t had to do this with exposed hardware before. Thanks.

Well, you are always welcome to join, nothing fancy tonight. Pork steaks marinated in Soy/Honey/garlic and lime, fries in the oven and corn from the farm....pretty normal summer fare.
