JS01 confirmed they are Aberdeen. They were sold to me as Barrie but sure didn't fit in my usual Barrie size. I don't have any aberdeen to compare them to, but JS knows his stuff so I believe him.
Based on feel, they "feel" like Aberdeen, I'll do a Alden Model Project look up at some time, but I, like you, trust JSO1

Those look great @audog. I never knew Alden did a PTB on Aberdeen until I lucked into my Ravello pair. The plain toe lends itself to a somewhat dressy look and Aberdeen is such a great last for it.

As you are probably aware, I have a few GS PTB's, but these Aldens just plain feel better on my feet. I may have to change my thought process, as GS felt better than AE, but if Alden feels better than GS............either I have been buying wrong GS size or the Aberdeen last in this size and shoe style is just "good on my feet". OH HELL, another rabbit hole.....
