Yes they are, Horween and made by hand....= nice. Of course, with being at home all the time, kind of a mute point, but nice wallets none the less.

I thought I would share some before and after pictures I found on line from a 2015 article. These Alden shell boots were taken to Moulded shoe for a refurbish. It's a nice illustration of how shell is amazingly resilient.

I always see stuff like this and look at how they walked,etc. with the hole being more towards the inside and the creased toe stiffener

I went to look for these tankers last night and I could not find them. It was the first time since the move. When I could not find them, I was initially scared that they had been lost somehow in the move. Then I actually pancked a little more with the thought that there may be in another entire box that had not yet been found. Mrs. smfdoc had already been commenting repeatedly about the number of shoes I had and I did not need another entire box showing up to add to those in the closet. Fortunately, I found them under a blanket in the final box that I thought had been emptied.

Same thought has been mulling through my head. I've cooled down on the aquisitions, but that may be the 2021 goal. Sooner if it happens to be in whiskey or ravello, of course.
