My first try on of something new. After being burned by buying a pair I knew was not my size during the great BB sale, I finally have a pair of LHS in the proper size, albeit lined.

got my shell tankers today. Awesome boots, very well made.

What do you guys think about crooked tongues on your Aldens? Do they sometimes appear crooked when new and then straighten out and take on the curve of your ankle after some use? The right boot is perfect, but the left is real crooked.

Those are nice! I have the tongue issue with almost every non-suede Indy boot I own, but not so much on shell. Hope it straightens out, with wear, for you.

Sew the inside edge to boot so it doesn't rotate to the side?
