Back from a grocery store run, it's weird out there. The local grocery store would not let patrons take a cart until one of their gloved and masked, employees disinfected it with some spray and wiping down the cart. 75%+ of us had gloves and/or masks, or both on, people kept 10 feet or so apart, marks on the floor in checkout lanes at 6 foot intervals, new plexiglas barriers between cashiers and patrons. Came home, threw clothes in the washer on Sanitize, shoes (old Wolverine 1K's, stay in garage and were sprayed down with Lysol. So changed into an old favorite for the remainder of the Shelter in Place day. I wonder what the Lysol spray is going to do to the CXL Wolverines?? View attachment 1363005
Were they real police, or just uniformed security guards (Mall Cops)? If real, what a- pardon me- ****** assignment.Errands yesterday morning. Sam's has had police guarding the toilet paper upon store opening.

Mostly sprayed the leather soles, but got a bit on the uppers. Wife says since I'm in a "high risk" category (over 60) I need to take extra precaution. What next? Should we all get those sticky things that are on the floor at the entrance to hospital surgery area? Oh, and given the size of my "collection" I could probably go 3 weeks or so without putting them on againMay be overkill on the boots. If you leave them in the garage and don't put them on for 3 days, it should be all-clear without spraying the leather. Not sure about leather, but I've read that it can live on steel and plastic for 3 days, cardboard for 24 hours.
That’s a great pic, Doc.Out for a drive in the country this afternoon. It's easy to practice social distancing at 30 mph. Blue CXL LWBs for the trip.

Would you guys use the Alden boot cream on natural CXL shoes?
I used it once to condition and it seemed ok.
Since then i bought a bottle of VSC to use on my shells and thinking of also using it on the CXL.
Lot's of different products available, including VSC, but my favorite for CXL is Bick 4. Works very well and it is easy on the wallet.
