Color 8 is made for grey in my book. Navy isn't a bad combo, but I always prefer brown with navy.

Wish! They're AE Leeds in burgundy... Were very faded, then accidently darkened during recraft. Came out a really good color, though. The loafers are AE as well.

This is a nice general school of thought but seriously, I have yet to see either the color or pattern of slacks that doesn't pair well with well-cared for 8. Don't believe me, take a another look at @madhat recent post. It's the genius and beauty of 8.

In my mind, color 8 goes with everything except maybe white, and even then could probably be pulled off. Color 8 is just a great color, but seems to be suited for darker color pants.

I love mine with my raw denim that are 8 years old and significantly lighter. I don't mind them with my newer denim. I also like them with grey and they are wearable with British khaki, but not lighter tan.
