First pair of Alden’s, first pair of shell! Finally wore them outside of the house after agonizing about fit for fear of getting it wrong (already had to eBay a pair of calfskin Chelsea boots I mis-judged). Let’s hope I actually got it right and dont learn my true size the hard way.

Those are fantastic! A great choice for the first pair of shell, too. Looking good!

Forewarned, another long one guys. Lately I have taken up installing the integrated lulu taps. Thanks to some great assistance from a fellow SF'er, I have gotten fairly confident at it. However, getting the courage to try it on my ravello u-tips is another story. I have yet to see a pair of footwear I would rather own than these. They are easily (IMO) the crown jewel of my collection. But after some additional inspiration yesterday, I finally got the courage to try. They came out almost perfectly.......

The last image is on the rack flanked by my next two projects, whiskey George's and Sir Walters. I had a decent amount of toe drag on the utips, and that adds to the challenge. Neither the George's or Walters have that issue. And lastly, because I really need to wear these more, an on-the-feet shot whlie doing some running around today.......

So great, @Shawnc. Very stressful doing something so invasive on your unicorns, but you nailed it. Can’t wait to see more “in the wild” pics in the near future.

Amazing pair of boots! Nicely done job, my friend.
How long did it take you to get the installation done on this pair?

Wow nice work! I’d be terrified to try that on my boots.
What does Aram or Bedos charge to put lulus on a pair of boots?
