I’ve been having a love affair with plain toe boots recently. I’ve had some in the past, but sold them. I’m back on the wagon now. Just picked up TSM plain toe color 8 on Barrie. I really like the 270 storm welt with the “heel forward”, giving into more presence in the heel area than the typical 270 welt, but not as much heft as the 360 reverse welt. A very well balanced makeup IMO.

Super clean. Getting me excited for the plain toe cigars that will show up sometime from TSM. I hemmed and hawed a lot on if I needed a plain toe shell boot given the fact I have two pairs of shell chukkas. These look great!

They are good man! Thanks for the trade. I wore them in the house the first day I got them and they fit well. I think overall 9D is better for me but they still fit well. I’ve been working away from home for the last 3 weeks and haven’t really been able to wear them. How are the dovers?

Looking good! I always liked that makeup - only reason they didn’t get worn was that after getting a pair of Regina grain boots from audog I just never really wore them anymore.

Idk if others have had a similar experience but I definitely find myself preferring boots over shoes. I even limit my buying to shoes I really like and nonetheless when I reach for a pair in the morning I almost always find boots in my hand.

I almost always reach for boots. I’m going to make an effort this summer to do more shoes than boots I think
