So pulled the trigger, so to speak, on the full strap loafers this evening. Didn't go shell as wanted a lighter color so went with 685 tan calf. I don't "need" full strap loafers, but don't have a pair and will wear them 2-3 times a month in summer, and probably not more than that. At my age, the soles may still be almost pristine when the kids have to sell them due to my demise (Lots of years in the future, but......)

Looking to have my voice drowned out with @ELClodge . I would be in for an Alden Bal. Would prefer shell with a flat welt. I get those 3 and everything else is malleable. Well maybe something in color 4 would be nice but not too many folks like color 4 around here.....

Cold out today, so decided to work on some boots. These had the weird "coating" that cracks or whatever. Before and after the 70% Alcohol treatment and some post work with deer bone and Saphir. Before and after shots
