ID on pants?
JCrew 484 cords in 'hidden fern'. They're a little darker than they come out in pictures with my phone.

First pair of cords I've purchased in years. Got them today. I see a few more in my future.

I went to my local trickers and alden stockist to get a pair of trickers and the gentlemen told me that his shop is having a 30% off all Alden stock with code PC30

Just wanted to share since it's definitely one of my favorite shops in LA and the owner Danny has been super helpful anytime I have been there.

I wanted to consult the brain trust on loafer fit on the Van last.

For background, I stuck to 8.5E on the Barrie for a long time, but on advice from one of the Zapatka brothers at TSM, discovered that half a size up and half a width down, 9D, also works well. I'm now equally comfortable in 8.5E and 9D on the Barrie.

I now have a few pairs of LHS on Van in 8.5E, which I love after they've broken in. Do you guys think Van loafers in 9D are likely to work as well?

Many thanks!
Would love to hear what your experience has been with this... TLDR: half a size up and half a width less works great for me on Barrie, so 8.5E is my natural size, but 9D also works.

Is the same trick likely to work for Van last loafers? I'm 8.5E in the LHS, so would try 9D?

Thanks again.

First wearing to start the break in process. They feel great, so it really does not need much.

Of course I need to see the condition of the seconds before I celebrate, but I'm cautiously optimistic about getting 2 pairs of awesome Aldens (seconds) for a great deal. I personally have not seen such deep discounts from TSM before.

Stock photo from TSM b/c posts w/ pictures are more interesting.
