Oh sh*t! Incredible!

2 things that I enjoy are shell and horween color 8. A little maintenance for me. Tankers were just wipe and brush flanked by a couple of pre-owned purchases for me which required a little more attention. Nothing major, just a dab of Collonil 1909 (can't thank @smfdoc enough for this discovery)........

New boot day for me today.

Snuff Suede Indy on waterloc sole with flat welt from Ealdwine.

I bought some Tan Suede Indys on Ebay awhile ago, wanted snuff at the time but the tan were good deal. I like the sleeker look of the snuff pair with the flat welt and waterloc sole over the storm welt and commando on the tan.

I de-injured my Mahogany Indys today. The back-story is that I've traveled ****** off this year, and took my Mahogany Indys on one of the early trips, which was to the amazing city of Barcelona. As many of you might recall, these are TSM seconds of Yenni's amazing-but-small run, and had a big flaw on the toe. This freed me to just beat on them, and beat on they have been. They got some scuffs in La Sagrada Familia while going back down from the tower. That church was a lifetime highlight, but it wasn't great for the shoes, and the shoes weren't great for the tiny steps...

They also picked up some scuffs from a day of an unexpected move at the office and general life. I traveled quite a bit this summer, and along with all kinds of other life-craziness they've been waiting patiently for some attention. This morning it happened.

Where I started:

After a wet-cloth wipe-down and some brushing. Better-but-not-great

Brushed in some VSC:

And then brushed some more and buffed:

I dressed the edges, though the forward piece of the heel stack was having none of it (I don't really care...)

I'm pretty happy with the results!

Had to hit up the always wet nursery this a.m., so Alpine LHSes with single Waterloc got the call.. we grow roses here on the Sonoran Desert September to June. They go dormant for the hot Summer months. I have 15 Rose bushes and climbers and have been growing them all my adult life. They bring me much joy.

They look great. One of my favorite pieces of shoe p*rn on SF. Just love the color. Skoak sells a mahogany cordovan Bonafe boot as a stock offering, but the color is closer to dark brown. If it looked anything like yours, I'd buy it today.
