New boots with many flaws...
Anyone how I should go about fixing the speed hook? Its tilted to the side like its been pressed on. Dont wanna mess with it with pliers and screw it up even more

Maiden voyage for TSM wingtip boot. Couple of nits here and there (e.g., needle hole under eyelet flap, chipped speed hook), but no deal breakers.

Happy to have finally tried the barrie. My high volume foot doesn’t mind that it isn’t the sleekest last. Ended up going TTS. I tried a half size down in the same width and I was ahead of the widest part of the shoe. In sum, it’s a dreamboat.

I have had to fix a speed hook like that in the past. It will bend back pretty easily with a pair of pliers. Just be sure to put a rag or something between the pliers and the hook as the pliers will mar the paint on the hook.
