No they are actually a pair of Black shell that I got from Adam at AoC.

4 wears in. There's someone else with a #8 pair, possibly the ones on Aberdeen.

I think they're going to stay looking lovely. I generally have rolls like this, though, so if you typically have lots of rolls on Plaza I'd expect the same.

Color 8 PCT boots, TSM seconds. This was my first pair of shell footwear purchased in spring 2017, and it started my addiction to shell. Probably the most comfortable boots I own, and the only pair of shell I don't baby.

Happy Friday forum pals. Wrapping up boot week with suede. I have to say that I feel I really need to get back to shoes. Boots are terrific, but not for me for every day.

Is it normal for brand new 1493s to have these grey markings along the stitching for both L and R boots and on both sides of each boot?

I've seen that before, although it's a little sloppy. I think they use a silver pen / marker to mark where the stitching should go, but it looks a little off there.
